I am Sofia Afrenie, a Romanian fashion designer based in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

My work is shaped by a strong interest in construction, proportion, texture, and contrast.

I approach fashion as a balance between structure and spontaneity, combining refined tailoring with sculptural forms,

asymmetry, bold colour accents, and unexpected details.

Growing up in a family of makers had a strong influence on the way I see and develop clothing.

With a mother who ran her own tailoring atelier and a father working as a painter,

I was surrounded early on by craftsmanship, materials, and creative expression.

This environment formed my sensitivity for detail, silhouette, and visual composition from a young age.

In 2012, I graduated from the University of Arts and Design in Timișoara, Romania. Since then, I have continued to develop

my own visual language through independent work focused on individuality and limited production.

Through my label, I create one-of-a-kind garments and small-scale made-to-order pieces outside traditional seasonal systems.

Every piece is individually designed and developed by me, with attention to cut, fabric, and construction.

My aesthetic combines elements of art fashion, contemporary femininity, street influence, and expressive styling.

I am interested in clothing that feels confident, modern, and distinctive without becoming overly complicated.

The result is a personal and recognisable approach to fashion — expressive pieces with strong character,

carefully constructed and made to be worn with individuality.
